Week 11

I expanded upon my original idea and have a completed introduction to my game created. It can be viewed at: Scratch | Project | 4C2nd

I added the 4 other characters for the game and the mental calculator that Cathie will use to make change.

I like the way you have added the additional characters and gave them interesting names. It will be interesting to see how you further develop this game. This should get the attention of students.

I would change or modify the speed with which the text boxes disappear. I am a quick reader, but I had trouble getting it all read before the next one appeared. Also, I would recommend putting the calculator instructions in the notes, I forsee that remembering all those commands would be a challenge as it is not in the normal range of knowledge. It works, but is not intuitive.

    1. I agree that I need to have the command keys available when the player needs to use them. I am going to use voice and text rather than text boxes in the final version so the game will seem more interactive.

  2. I really like the character development too! It would be fun to let players choose the character they want to play to make change!

I think Janne gave outstanding suggestion for the calculator instructions too!

  3. I like the new characters you have added. Their names are fun and very creative.

I recommend leaving the textboxes up a little longer. I had trouble reading everything.

I had trouble reading the content that you characters were saying trying increasing their time. I also was not sure what to do once the characters introduced their self.
