I am using this assignment to show the need to keep your files in a central location in case they need to be retrieved easily. As I completed the first round of assignments from my classes this semester, I realized that I was saving papers in a variety of locations based upon defaults in text editors. I right clicked the location I wanted the papers to be saved, clicked on "new folder", and began to move all my files into this folder. By staying proactive on file location, I won't have trouble in the future of many files in many locations.
I believe that this sniping tool assignment supports the third ISTE NETS T standard the most. The core of the standard is for teachers to show proficiency in using technology to support education.
