Self Portrait Assignment

I created this self portrait using the software located at: http://www.picassohead.com/create.html

I do not have that much talent in terms of portrait art so I tried the majority of the selections on the site to find a combination that suited me. I also had to enlarge and rotate many of the options. I settled for something conservative because that is how I present myself.

I believe that this Self Portrait assignment supports the second ISTE NETS T standard the most. The core of the standard is for teachers to design, develop, and evaluate authentic learning experiences and assessment incorporating contemporary tools and resources to maximize content learning. By learning a new program such as this one I gain in my abilities to design for learning.
