Digital Story

I posted my digital story at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RXy6DQkuDYs

I used PhotoStory3 but couldn't get the voice feature to work so I had to read my script live to music and make it as my music.

  1. This is a really cool story. My brother just got out of the Navy and was stationed in Japan and Naples, Italy so it reminded me of him. The best thing about it was that it was simple and straight to the point. I would have added some more music but it sounds like you had some issues getting the audio right. Interesting reunion and friendship story!

  2. I like the idea that you reconnected with an old friend, but Navy men are special( my Dad was in the Navy WWII). I too had a hard time with music and voice and ended up remaking this project a few times before I found movie maker. I felt this was a little too short, but you covered the topic.

  3. Your digital story made me think about my own close friends. One thing you might think about changing is the length so that you receive full credit. The best thing about your digital story is how two lives came together, separated, and came back together.

  5. Your story made me think about the life of the servicemen and how our paths can cross.
I would consider adding slides with words to emphasize key points.
The best thing I liked is that you tutored in trig. I love trig. That is the math teacher in me.

  6. It's great to hear about your time in the Navy. Coincidentally, my best friend is someone I met in the USAF who just happened to grow up near my hometown. We are close friends to this day.
